Cultured pearl necklace, French work.
Strand of slightly creamy white cultured pearls, falling, ranging from 3.5 mm in diameter to 7.2 mm. The necklace has been threaded with knots on a ivoor silk thread.
The necklace closes with a barrel-shaped clasp with polychrome enameled decoration. It is in 18 carat (750 thousandths) yellow gold and typical of regional French jewelry from the 19th century.
